POSA is an non-profit organization.  Our mission is to increase the safety and effectiveness of law enforcement officers and to enhance the security of our communities by offering free and low-cost advanced education and training to law enforcement officers. While each agency and department offers thorough training for new and current officers, training budgets are limited.  Additional training will make our law enforcement officers and communities safer.  Personal performance will be enhanced by diversity of subject matter and introduction to new and different techniques.

POSA’s FREE video training programs and Journal of Tactics and Training are available to police officers nationwide.
